I guess I confess ignorance as to the whys and wherefores -- just watch what happens. If you were a commercial: How would you think? I would think like this: Short the heck out of the metals when the prices are near highs and the shares don't act well -- odds are you win. If you get scared, but some mining shares here and there. Cover on drops in the metals when the shares start to perk up. How can one of the commericial players lose?? Only when the game changes. The game changes when commercials HAVE to cover into a rise. Right now that remains a myth. I expect it to happen at some pt, but until then -- it's just a myth.
