Well, the Times is basically into stringing quotes together to make a story these days. Which is, as I recall, what they did with the Corzine-Norcross stories. Though, by the positioning of quotes, one could easily infer they thought Corzine was a long way from being touched by the Norcross stuff.

The Record is the best paper on Jersey politics I read and they are clearly taking the "wait and see" attitude. With a clear bent that it is very much Corzine's race to lose.

It was interesting to watch them in the Corzine-Codey dust up. They clearly preferred Codey, who does seem to be a better human being, but covered the pros and cons very well.

And they have some of the better state political commentators on their staff.

Not a bad newspaper.
