Delay was probably appealing to the rightwing as long as he did his dirty deeds without actually getting pinned for the responsibility. Now that the annoying schlub has gotten caught in the headlights, it's time for Republicans to pitch the twit overboard. Delay is in serious denial so hopefully he stays in the headlights until well into next year when he can go completely berserk and maybe pitch a cream pie at a Dem. One can always hope for more interesting political theater.
