Now it's not just manufacturing (China is actually losing out to even poorer countries!) but consumption. American car manufacturers are introducing models there instead of here because they are salivating over the huge market currently riding bicycles. China is sucking up steel, oil, concrete and more as it tries to raise the standard of living of its select class of fascist types. Rightwing twits forget that it's still in dispute with democratic Taiwan AND it has nuclear weapons. OOOOOOOOOPS! While Bush fights first the cold war and then the ME war, China simply toddles along towards becoming the largest economy in the world. 20 years from now, they're going to say...US who?
