The Burning World That reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode about the Earth spiraling into the Sun and how people were dealing with the end of the world by fire.

Then, surprise! The protagonist woke up and it was all a dream. Actually the Earth was spiraling AWAY from the Sun and the Earth was freezing to death.

I saw that but, unfortunately, that's not it. I vaguely recall at the time running into The Drought when I was referencing Drought.

Maybe if I just hand this over to my right brain to chew on for a few day, some lightbulb will come on.
