I am watch the AAPL ticker and the market reaction to much better than expected earnings.

AAPL recovered then has tanked again.

The reason I post this here is because Dell not only needs good earnings but a very good forcast to get the stock moving up.

Crazy market!

Diluted pro-forma last Q would bring earnings down to 0.88.

Dell will meet their numbers but somewhere in their report will show the effects of the options. Long history of transferring equity out of shareholders. If stock was rising, it would be less of a deal, but shareholders participating in Dell's "record revenue" growth has been nil.

I certainly understand your reluctance to play Dell. Every option play I make on Dell is countered with an almost equal and opposite play; a stagnant dell is a friendly dell for me. ( although I'm much happier with Dell at higher levels...still long a ton of shares :(
