I thought Sgrena had information on the goings on in Fallujah including the use of DU.

Maybe that was simply the rumor making its way through Baghdad and making her way home pretty treacherous. Then again, maybe it was just sheer incompetence and confusion.

"The Administration has requested $87 billion in additional funds to support military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, but has continued to under-fund services for veterans and their families here at home...

I am very concerned that VA has turned the CARES process into a cost-cutting mechanism that has lost sight of the individual veteran. Democrats and Republican have criticized the VA's handling of the CARES process, which may result in recommendations to reduce veterans' access to health care by the end of this calendar year."

Yep, apparently some parts of the country are grateful enough to put yellow ribbon stickies on their SUVs but not grateful enough to allocate money for veterans. Yet again the war-mongering Republicans diss our veterans. They deny them a welcome home in broad daylight, they won't go to a single funeral and now they continue to deny them decent healthcare.

Then they sit around wondering why recruitment numbers are down. Are the armed forces allowed to go on a 'sick day' or a 'go slow' strike? They'd better start yelling at their representatives or they're going to be paying for their hospital meals again.
