Jill,

Re: QCOM

Look at the two year Linear Regression chart:

139.142.147.218

QCOM used to track the QQQQ so let’s compare the same chart for the QQQQ:

139.142.147.218

By comparison the QQQQ is near the lower channel line while on the other hand QCOM has already fallen through the lower channel line. Currently the QQQQ is in a general uptrend while QCOM gapped down and is now in a down trend.

The six month QCOM chart:

139.142.147.218

The six month QQQQ chart:

139.142.147.218

Three month QCOM chart: (Look at this)

139.142.147.218

Three month QQQQ chart:

139.142.147.218

My point to you is that by comparison the QQQQ is more likely a much safer bet than a single stock, especially if you are trading options.

As far as QCOM goes, it will find a bottom in the 30.00 to 31.00 area, IMO.
