Cary, just an FYI...there is a development effort underway
to build "stratellites". Basically they are high altitude
solar/battery powered planes that operate in the stratosphere
for extended periods...the idea is to offer a low cost
non-fixed communications platform that hovers over an area for
various technologies like cell phones, WiMax, etc. They
can be easily serviced and replaced and will compete against
satellites, cable, and cell towers.
