Feynman's playing for the Packers is really pretty amzing when you consider CalTech dropped its football team many decades ago. The brains there were just to valuable to risk injuring them. (Before anybody has the chance to jump me, yes, I KNOW Dick didn't do his undergrad work at CalTech. He did it at MIT- -one of those silly Eastern schools that hasn't had the sense to do what CalTech did.) (Although it does appear they didn't start a football program until 1980. Why is beyond me.)
