You think its right wingers with an assault weapons fetish? Take a look at your police forces in Democratic police bastions like New York and Chicago. Those departments are outfitted with tactical gear, helmets, armored personnel carriers, machine guns...they don't even carry assault weapons...not enough firepower.

If you don't want to confiscate guns what are you gonna do to prevent those 12000 gun deaths you talked about? And why are you attacking gun makers? Hardly any one is killed by "assault rifle arsenals" in America - they are killed by plain old semi-automatic handguns, revolvers, shotguns, and rifles. No way to eliminate gun deaths except by confiscating all the guns. Now deaths can be reduced by safety education - which is part of the NRA's agenda.
