<Re: If you are implying that de Freitas is a corrupted scientist...

Nope, you got me wrong. I'm not implying that he's a fraud. I'm insisting that he is.

Ray, I read some of his writing and background etc and I wouldn't bet a knob of goat poop against $10 that he is fraudulent. On the contrary, I agree with him [or, more accurately, he agrees with me] and saw no evidence at all that his ideas are a result of bias in favour of some financial interest or any other interest.

When people chase so many honours, positions of status and so on, [that he has achieved], I'm very suspicious of their motives, but some people are just highly capable and by merely keeping their minds active and enjoying doing good stuff they can't help but get those things. I reserve judgment on that aspect. geog.auckland.ac.nz

I was amused by some of his research, such as "How to dress warmly in Canada" or some such. Having lived in Canada, without a PhD in climatology, I didn't get cold, or too hot [other than in the car, with a tie on, in the sweltering summer heat, with no air conditioner - that was 1975]. In winter, I put on a synthetic fur overcoat. Indoors was too hot, so take it off and hey presto, comfort in shirt sleeves. No need for Chris's research.

I'm afraid you are burning up your credibility at an accelerating rate.
