You would probably like Patrick McManus. His stories talk about his youth, haunting war surplus stores for helmets and gear like that. The war surplus store found out that helmets with a bullet hole were worth more than those without, so pretty soon a lot of them started having bullet holes. When I was a pup, my parents let me sleep in my Dad's shelter half pup tent. A big storm came up, so they came out to get me, but I was sleeping so well they let me be. Wouldn't it be great to be young again?
