You are right about 9/11. FBI and CIA detached from each other after years of liberal hostility made it impossible for them to catch those guys at that time. I am looking toward the future. I am not going to play that game with you on which detainees should be subjected to extreme measures or not and whether there have been and will be abuses. Yes and yes. But that does not lead me to conclude that any and all torture, whether like Orcas sanitized sodium pentathol or my good swift kick in the ass, should be banned. I will not do that. I will hold our folks to the highest standards. No out of control situations like abu gharib without consequences but i do expect someone to get the SP shot who didnt deserve it and some guy to get kicked in his arse who was innocent as well. mike
