Pharmacy World is a TWISTED whacky world. Do you feel entitled to have the govt pay for the gas that u use? It's the same thing. They pay for your drugs. (UNDER bush plan) They should pay for your gas. It's the same thing... Do you see the pharmacist having to justify that their drugs improve function? Do you see efficacy studies on the drugs that are paid for by the govt? (or bankrolled through wall street stock printing i.e. money launding) NO. I don't think so. You got the fox guarding the hen house. The story gets better. As an example. You got GM that owns EDS. (used to be a 'TEXAS' corporation. Now i think they call it a 'FEDERAL' corporation) anyway. Moral of the story. EDS admininstrates medicare through NHIC National Heritage Insurance Corporation. (nothing really 'National' about it) other than it's owned by EDS. anyway. they administrate medicare to 5.5 million constituents . (as an aside, EDS also administrates MEDI CAL (California equivalent of MediCaid) to all the poor people in California and it's a totally ANTIQUATED system developed in about 1982 about the time ross perot started playing with an access database and being an abhorrent billionaire. oh well. EDS needs to go. I think the system is a racquet. all they talk about is protecting from fraud and that fraud is rampant? Well where are the statistics to prove that? And how many jobs does it cost to have a web site and automated payroll system. Geeze. You want to go after somebody. Why don't u start cutting there.

Message #679403 from Mark Anderson at 4/14/2005 12:33:11 PM You mean for example, those pharmacists who not only refuse to fill a prescription, but keep the prescription so the person can't go somewhere else to get it filled? Or for example people who bomb abortion clinics, because they believe in "the culture of life"?
