Never get complacent. Check out the recent figures on FDC (foreign direct capital) for investing in innovation (posted on the real estate thread, search for Amy J and FDC). Check out the recent flow of student migration (on the Intc thread). Check out the recent figures on university research as a function of GDP (this is on the Intc thread) - we are not first anymore in this. This needs to be fixed. Don't get complacent. Your vote counts. Get informed. PS Don't bet against the American CONSUMER.
