Just change the word "flight" to the word "fright" and it rings truer perhaps, or perhaps think of it as a flight of the buy orders. Either way, the shift in allocation of total net worth goes from stocks to treasuries. I believe that a decent portion of the flight will simply be OUT to pay down private debt, and that the level of money flowing IN will be reduced, also to pay down debt and more importantly to service the Fed's inflation without corresponding wage growth.
