Something's up

House Finch Disease knocked the population down to nearly nothing around here during the last decade. Then there was West Nile Virus. Those are just the ones I know of.

robins here last month or so... woodpecker busy with cedar siding.. and black birds by the hundreds cleaning up the lawns. but years past we had the trees covered with black birds heading north. not many this year.
oh. love doves,they are pretty and a few cardinals but they stay all winter,, yes?
