Off topic,

I don't know if there are any traders out there that are having problems with importing Quicken trade data into Turbo Tax without it getting all Fu*ked up, but if there are, here is a solution. Create a capital gains report in Quicken, and then export it to a .txf file. Then have Turbo Tax import that file. This way, your trades will be matched the way you have them in Quicken, without Turbo Tax messing them all up. I have thousands of trades, so that might have been part of the problem.

Anyway, it took me awhile to figure it out, so I thought I might volunteer it.

Pravin.

BTW, elmer also called it.

Thanks Pravin but I can't take much credit. This is such a well established pattern that a blind man could see it.

Too bad the faithful missed it!
