Ild, For some reason the forest products stocks have all held near their highs...so far. Other basic materials have been getting smacked and these guys are hovering at their highs on the false premise lumber and plywood alone will be enough. For most integrated companies in this group the traditional money maker is paper, not selling real estate or building materials. Take a look at this one, GP.

They have already sold all their timberlands, have poor management, asbestos exposure, aged labor issues like Ford & GM, too much debt, and a chart that technically looks like one of those train wreck pictures you posted is about to happen. As soon as the housing boom simply reverts to the long term mean this company should implode.
