Eric, it seems Comcast doesn't want to advertise their problems - hence no advisory. Some of the help line reps didn't even seem to know they had DNS problems. It's Ok now - but I'm waiting for the other shoe...

BTW, they touted the download speed increase from [up to] 3 to 4 MB/s but I'm not seeing any increase at all. I get between 2.5 and 2.9 Mb/s and that's fine as long as I can rely on it. Apparently broadband providers cannot be held to a minimum.

PS: throughout the Comcast troubles I could usually access investorshub but not SI and WSJ, myYahoo and Stockcharts.
