I have a problem with torture.

However, if Nadine's scenario actually occurred, I wouldn't have a problem with using torture in THAT case. In principle. If I believed that the torture really would yield the result that I would be able to stop the bomb. It isn't possible to know that in advance. You have to make a judgement about the person in front of you.

But to use torture routinely to get information from people? It is wrong and stupid, IMO.
