My wife and I both forgot our wedding anniversary this last year.

I remember her birthday though, it's the same day my dad died

My wife and I don't have any trouble remembering our anniversary. Her mom died that day three years ago.

We've thought about selecting an alternate date to celebrate the anniversary.
