That is so curious. Hmmm! I want to think it's because of their stronger product lineup as a result of its fast broadening support of Opteron-based products and consequently its reltive strengthening vis a vis Dell.

By the way, did you see this from SUN's report?

page 25, clearly, HP has the lion share of the opteron market, no wonder HP is pushing out all these opteron gear. The total is 67219 units q4 2004. Sun shipped 12000 units the last quarter.
Sun has 15%, IBM has 8%, HP has 30%."

HPQ is going to be selling all those dual core Opterons for the next 6-9 months with only competition from Sun...this should be fun...;>)
