Again the key point being "the new Western CEO at Sony might just make a huge difference."

The last two Western CEOS taking charge of a troubled Japanese company, Nissan and Mazda did make a HUGE difference. Like with Jobs returning to Apple, it takes some time to turn the ship but when it turns, watch out. sony.com

>>In my opinion, from my experience with SONY products, it is surviving mainly on its reputation.<<

Hi Neal,

Regarding Sony, I'd have to respectfully disagree. I'm working on my second Sony Vaio laptop, and I couldn't be happier. I had mentioned in a post a while back that I've also used Dell laptops, and for me, there's no comparison -- I much prefer the Sony product. Of course I'm just one person, but I honestly have had no complaints with my Vaios and would definitely consider myself a satisfied customer.
