What will be developed in the next year to soak up that rumored supply glut in 2007?

Well, speaking just about cameras, they're going to get into the teens, in terms of magapixels, like soon. At the pro-consumer level. Got that in the high-end models now, trickling down to the rest soon, as always. Now: storing teen megapixel image files -- especially in RAW which is all the rage among the megapixel chasers -- soaks up some serious CF/SD/whatever storage. Fast. Across the board: CDs, DVDs, hard drives and our beloved flash (not to mention the obvious flash advantages over all of the other storage media above, when the price factor becomes a mute point). That's just photography. The zeroes and ones digital bit (or byte) hunger applies to music, videos, trains, planes and automobiles...

Glut. I don't buy it. Yeah, here and there some weird chit like LEXR and its no fab ways, but that ain't the trend, is my take.

Anyway SNDK is iffy right here right now...

I've placed my bet a while ago. And yes, I do have a cascade of stops in case the house of cards (no pun intended) falls down...

Need a disclaimer? Got one...

From the upscale digital cameras to the Ipod shuffle to the P2P,
the rolling demand for flash seems strong. Something new every
few months to soak up that (rumored) supply glut.

Pomps,

Agreed. Things seem incredibly positive at this point.
