Actually Mary, if one is pro-Japan as we are, we need to demand from Japan that they fess up and accept their past. Some of things they honor there would be like the US having an annual pageant celebrating southern slave owners while at the same time denying slavery existed or at least minimizing its cruel nature. Japan, wake up, take your rightful seat on the Security Council but first fess up to the world and educate your own people on the extent of the atrocities committed by the Japanese on the people of Asia.
