Note how much money you would have made yesterday if you were short the sector at the bottom of his list, materials.<

Sam, at the last real bottom on this list of industries and sectors from Barcharts.com there were only a few still green:

The market is going to have to pick itself up by Monday or the whole two year uptrend is over. That's not a bad thing if we still have cash to either short the rallies or at least buy long when we hit a real bottom.

Everything I have touched lately on the long side is of course in the red. Sentiment is indeed still too bullish for a true long term bottom.
