With Opteron, AMD surely has a tiger by the tail as evidenced by the growth in revenues in Q1, a seasonally weak quarter. Can't say with certainty 'til INTC posts their results next weak, but unless INTC's CPG division is up 2.7% or better (INTC was guiding down 5%, then it would appear that AMD's marketshare growth phase has now begun.

Revenue share probably understates any market share gains. Given AMD's lower ASP, unit share growth rate is probably twice that indicated by the comparative revenue growth rate.
