Real churches are not fleecing their flocks, aren't telling their flock who to vote for and certainly are not siding with the dishonest rightwing corporate interests. Real churches would also not support Bush's war in Iraq, his tax cuts for the rich, his cuts in social services for the poor, his environmental policies or his dirty tricks campaigns. Here is an example of a phony church and minister, not atypical of evangelical leaders, taking the Lord's name in vain to hoodwink and rip off ignorant people. rotten.com
