The latest evidence that is the operative faculty culture is the Columbia report that made a point of noting they found none. Had they, it would have been deemed unacceptable

Even they noted that the pro-Palestinian professor who began to scream at a student who took the Israelis' side in an argument stepped over the line. But on the whole, they swept the fuss under the rug quite well - and got the NY Times to report on their report WITHOUT asking for comments from the original students who complained. Quite a trick, eh?

It will be too bad if the present attempts of the right to politicize the university weakens the current move to institute such principles

Don't you think the pro-Palestinian professor was a wee bit "political" himself? or is this a definitional thing with you, that the university faculty itself can never be political, no matter how it behaves?
