NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Intel Corp. was upgraded to hold from sell at Wells Fargo Securities due primarily to valuation. Analyst Tad LaFountain said the company's exposure to the effects of stock options expensing is one of the lowest among the semiconductor companies he covers, which makes him believe the shares are "increasingly appropriately valued." The stock closed Friday down 37 cents at $22.12, and have lost 12% since the Mar. 7 close.
