That is an outragious post IMO. Just about approaching a total lack of compassion IMO. Are you saying if I need help and don't have insurance I can get it? What in the heck planet do you live on? Friggin' Margueritaville?
You say "But right now, even if one doesn't have insurance, one can get health care - even for life threatening conditions. If one has to go so deeply in debt that bankruptcy results, that's bad, but it's not the end of the world."
Are you sure it is not the end of this world for millions?
My gosh DavesM. My gosh.
"And if one is truly poor, the government will pay."
Pay for heart surgery or any expensive life-saving surgery?
You must be smarter than you are now portraying yourself.
What new laws will help folks who can't get a decent plan for less that $800+ a month?
I won't ban you for your whatever logic you use on this subject, but to me you come off as a folk who has great insurance and are probably young.
Remember more than the 40 million figure actually don't have insurance.
