Let me guess.
You not only got the DVD player but one of those portable doohickys like a Pictophone so you can place buy orders while hanging from a loose rock halfway up a cliff or standing in a stream fishing.
I had a portable phone once, used it only twice in year both times on trip to Austin, so gave it back.
My alternator failed on the last trip back, but thats the advantage of a diesel.
It doesn't need electrical power unless its dark out requiring lights. Just remember not to shut off the engine.

Is the airplane finished yet?

I agree that a "Black Monday" will present a buying opportunity. If my memory is correct, it took about two years for the Dow to return to the levels seen in August 1987.

I feel sorry for your friend. I hope he is doing well. I can't help but think of Bush's attempt to privatize social security and allow people to invest in the stock market. IMO, it's a risking move. Being retired myself, and collecting social security, I can see the merits of having a "guaranteed" source of income. Oh well, that's a topic for another forum.

Good luck to all of us come Monday.
