heh... someone tried to help you out actually. But no, I don't think Puggles was paid. It's difficult to say. Maybe he got some free shares or some free product to "sell on consignment but keep the proceeds". The bigger part of that, however, is that ... the closest you can come is not one you can even name yourself, but one somebody else brought up, and may not have been paid anyway. Maybe yardslave provided a correct answer for your benefit to help out your flailing knowledge, or maybe Puggles wasn't really compensated. No certain proof. Pugs was certainly a "different" kind of character.
