Actually, those were quotes I strung together from the NAB guy. So if (excitement over AMD == 'niceguy') then there are many "niceguys" out there, influential types like the science and technology officer of the NAB, in high growth segments of our economy. And yes their numbers are growing. When I see these guys get excited and write "niceguy" like prose describing AMD and their upcoming MultiMedia World keynote, I take notice. Why? Because it reflects the very postive sentiment in the digital media marktet towards AMD. Think about it, wasn't Intel the perceived multimedia powerhouse just a few years ago? Ironically, Intel still wins some consumer level video encoding benchmarks yet it is AMD that is powering the most demanding HD editing workstations and being used on the most cutting edge CGI heavy films. It is a fundamental shift in this industry and a very bullish sign for AMD investors.

Anyway, just MY thoughts on why I'm (still) an AMD investor and why I see a very bright and profitable future ahead. Yes I'm excited about AMD and if that makes me "another niceguy" then I stand proudly beside him.
