The things I buy that were made in China are mostly kitchen gadgets - simple things like spoons and spatulas.

When I want a complicated electronic device, I almost always buy from Japan, or else Taiwan.

My husband drives a Japanese car. Mine was made in England but at the time BMW owned Rover. My next car will be either Japanese or German.

I think our socks are mostly made in China. My son's most recent shirt, bought just yesterday, was made in Abu Dhabi, of all places.
