OR, rather, effectively "paid off" - like, in receiving liveable comfortable compensation. Well said. I almost added that idea to my post. The best way to keep the masses docile is to ensure a reasonable distribution of wealth. A society which respects and protects rights of an individual is necessarily Capitalist. Never thought of it that way but it makes a lot of sense.

ok, I am more concerned about the loss of freedom here in this country effectively the media is now being put in a position to stop reporting on anything for fear of being shut down by the government. this certainly is not what our forefathers fought for the US is occupying a foreign country, abusing the prisoners its taken in the process, and the American public has been brainwashed to consider this as business as usual ps i think that some Korans are very small, so they can be carried around in peoples pockets, your argument is weak that this couldnt happen because the book would be too big m
