Prechter has just written in the latest "Theorist" that triangles may actually occur in a Wave 2. Elliott originally saw the possibility but then changed his mid sometimes resulting in counts that apppear strained (ie made zig-zags out of things that looked more triangular) Prechter brings up the notion of a rare "truncated triangle" (3-3-3 with the last 2 waves missing). Interesting stuff and very timely. I guess that the important thing is that we agree that golds are probably in a correction and that a lot of money may be made on the long side in the next couple of years. Getting that much right may be more than enough:) Prechter also shows a chart of Ag from the late '70s and doesn't meantion that it looks exactly like silver since 2000.
