Funny how it suddenly gets more attractive when you find yourself in the minority -g-

The change was triggered a long time ago when I realized that being a strident ideologue wasn't constructive and learned to collaborate and let things evolve as befits a democracy, learned to appreciate the workings of the marketplace.

Minority? I don't think so. I like my judges wise, conservative, and inconspicuous. I can't believe that's other than the majority perspective.

But what to do when the "extreme end" is declared to equal the entire philosophical spectrum of the majority party?

I haven't been paying close attention, but I'm under the impression that only a handful of nominees would not be approved. Unless all the nominees so far nominated and approved have been Democrats, and we know that's not the case, then what you're saying is hyperbole.
