Too bad they couldn't get it done in Q2 but July 21 sounds OK. Perhaps flash will be showing signs of strengthening by then?

Samsung & Micron will probably put that theory to rest. I'm glad to see AMD distancing the FLASH unit from CPG, but I wish they would exit entirely. I think the most value could be obtained by a friendly sale to either Samsung or Micron. I wonder if Hector & Co tried that or if the ghost of Jerry prevents that sort of thinking.

Those dates concern last year's Freescale IPO; not Spansion-related.
