The Doctors assistant who takes my PB, weight, and updates my meds, enters the info directly. When the Doctor comes in, he sets in the same chair, reviews my charts, and enters everything he does directly. Any prescriptions are entered by him, and I pick them up at the pharmacy

The University of Utah health clinics have something similar. I went in to have my knee checked the other day, and asked more questions about the computer system than my knee. <g> Really neat - I'd never seen anything like it.
