There needs to be a central meeting place for countries even if they all come out unhappy from those meetings. The other alternative is what, sometime secret meetings of super powers only? That would, according to media hype, be us meeting with us. It's bad enough that Republicans meet only with themselves, why do we need it on an international scale? We're only 5% of the world's population, at some point we're NOT going to be the only bully on the block. When that time comes, we're going to do what Bush did in Iraq: beg the UN for help.
