My last position is what I really believe, but sometimes I like to yank your chain, Wayne. I can tell you that I arrived at my deist/agnostic beliefs after 50 years of seeking, examining many religions and cults, some long dead and unpracticed. They seem to be just so much superstitious hooey, but are fascinating. I suggest you investigate Mithraism, which Christianity stole so much from. It's eye opening. mithraism.org If you're going to believe in God, I really see no reason you couldn't believe in multiple Gods, or even intervention from God-like space aliens. The possibilities of belief based on faith and self-deception are endless, and impossible to argue against.
