I thought it would be appropriate to discuss what DeLay has been charged with in comparison to what others have been charged with. You know, Hillary, Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, Schumer, ...

As I see it, you couldn't knock Bush, Cheney, Rice, or Ashcroft off the top of the hill, so DeLay is the next ranking official who supports the Bush administration for the FMSM to go after...

Someone said Pope John Paul II couldn't win. He was against Bush and the Iraq war, but he was for Bush and saving Terri Schiavo...

Seems to me it would be easier to run some dem candidates that people would want to vote for. But with the current left wing hate group running the dem party, I guess bashing the current administration is all that can be done....

So, it would seem appropriate to ask again, what has DeLay done wrong? "

You mean has he been convicted? No, he hasn't. And of course he denies any lapses or violations, despite being reprimanded 3 times last year. However, he seems to be worried about it, else why make all those changes to the ethics committee and the rules? And why try to get the law changed in Texas which would set up an ethics committee, controlled by the legislature, which would have the power to block any attempt to charge a politician with crimes? These aren't the actions of a man who is innocent...

Frankly, I am more disturbed by his abuse of power as opposed to his misuse of political monies. Getting a congressional bill that favors one person and interferes with a court's ruling; telling Israel whatever they want they get; using federal personnel and equipment to track down errant TX legislators........those are the actions that I find disturbing. And what about the things do we not know that he has done? The guy doesn't deserve to be a Congressman.
