Bush and Delay together should be balancing budgets. Instead, they are pigs at the trough of our public wealth, gouging consumers and looting the treasury and environment for special interests. A certain amount of that can be expected, but it's gone way too far. This is what happens when the Texas oil lobby runs the country.

We know that passing a budget generally requires the cooperation of fiscally conservative people like Teddy Kennedy and Robert Byrd.

One program for Lobstering Museums costing over $8,000,000 was restored to the budget. It is written so only Maine and Alaska can benefit. President Bush had eliminated it from the budget he submitted. There are many other line items he defunded that have been restored because of pork barrel politics.

Oink, Oink, we are bleeding to death.
