Ah, that's a little hasty. I had complete occlusion of the RCA for several hours and appear to have survived. :-)

I think he is being facetious. However, as we discussed on another list, CPR is pretty darn useless and, even if successful, can do much harm.

How about "If the EEG is flat for 1 hour, cut off everything."?

Various laws determine when you are allowed to be declared dead (brain dead). I don't know of any place that would permit pronouncing on the sole basis of an EEG remaining flat for one hour. - Holly

I like to say Dr. X kept me out of med school. We overlapped at Cal, and may have even been in the same class. Then he went to law school and then med school.
