el- we had a couple from tacoma look at the boat yesterday. we thought we were neophytes when we bought haereticus, but compared to this couple, we were downright experienced. they have not even had power boat experience - nothing - nada - zilch. its her father who wants a sail boat. he's never sailed either but plans to spend a year cruising the san juan islands and then head up to alaska!! the guy asked harold if he could sail the boat at night? harold said it was equipped to sail at night but he never does, cuz HE'S not equipped. the guy figured it would take him a couple days to get it back to tacoma, so he just wondered about sailing at night too. very scary. then another couple looked today. it was jeff's dad who told us that the haereticus was a 'hot' boat when we first saw it. they'll probably make an offer subject to him selling his sports car and they know the guy who is going to look tomorrow. he's the rigger who rigged the sails for us when we had it repaired a few years back. he knows the boat pretty well. so, between the three of them, we might get lucky. and, they're all under six foot <g> -la
