Sure would be nice if government and public body defined energy as an essential factor in their decision making process by including some base level of energy performance as prerequisite essentials.

My comment about "no AMD marketing=no AMD gain" was really more for the desktop market. Sorry I mentioned it in the context of Pressler. No marketing needed against a no-show. But AMD should be shouting the power savings of Athlon 64 vs. Pentium 4 and Pentium D to the rooftop. I think there is the potential to make Pentium D a colossal failure in the consumer space if the word gets out that Pentium D computers are power hogs.
