Much of the current gas price is gouging and manipulation. It began the day after Bush-cheney were nominated. How much and who's behind it we don't know because the energy business has been deregulated and are above the law. When they collude together it's like a big monopoly. They also enjoy the 100% protection of Bush-Cheney and DElay's congress.

fuel will only get higher and it is actually necessary for alternative energy solutions to be developed.

We can try to mandate a solution, and government will pick one with great rewards to a few well connected insiders, or we can let the market find solutions and innovators will win.

Hmmmm... Which is best? Graft or progress.

It strongly appears that Democrats prefer graft, and Republicans prefer success go the those who work hard and produce results.
